'Tis Veteran's Day

Happy Veteran's Day! I want to send out a very big thank you to all who have served our country! If you have not yet acknowledged our  veterans in some way, I encourage you to before you hop into bed, and turn your light out for the night. We are so indebted to those who put their life on the lines for us...I mean, that's a big deal!

On the other hand, stores viewed Veteran's Day as an excuse to put on big sales in which I gladly took advantage of today. While spending some much needed time with my Dad, we shopped Kohl's sales like there was no tomorrow!  We spent approximately $300 on Christmas gifts(not to mention a suit coat with dress pants), saving $800 using coupons, discounts, and promo codes. Pretty good,right?!

Afterwards we treated ourselves to some Panera bread where we got the oh so comforting autumn squash soup. 
God is good, and I am ready to have a mug of tea with my Momma before bed!
